Since 2009, the Fresh Food Festival has been held during a weekend in July in Denmark in northern Europe. It is an international raw food event with world renowned speakers, attracting people from many different countries and backgrounds.
The main purposes of the festival is to spread the word about the 80/10/10 raw food diet plus function as a meeting place for people interested in healthy living, raw food, fruit, 80/10/10 and the natural hygiene lifestyle. In other words the Fresh Food Festival is for anyone interested in learning about how to lead a super healthy lifestyle, get fit, veganism and how to make fruit the main staple of their diet. The festival is therefore nicknamed ‘the healthiest festival in Denmark’ or in danish ‘Danmarks sundeste festival’.
At the festival, you can enjoy a variety of lectures, sports activities and socializing with other like-minded people, as well as enjoying delicious meals of fresh, ripe, raw fruits and vegetables. The festival is a smoking-, drug- and alcohol-free festival and aims to present a more healthful, ethical and sustainable way of living and eating compared to what you can find in most places in mainstream society today.
The Festival takes place in Lejre kommune at Osted fri- og efterskole (a boarding school), a forty minute drive outside of Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark. You can read more about the location, the accommodation and how to get there here…
